Ako Shirabe is initially introduced as a reserved and somewhat abrasive girl. She is quick to lash out and treat those around her rudely and inconsiderately. However, she is also very mature for her age. Unbeknownst to the Pretty Cures, she has been disguising herself as a mysterious fighter named Cure Muse to help them.

Background

Ako is a 9-year-old student in the third year of Public Kanon Elementary, who is in the same class as Kanade’s little brother, Souta. She is the Princess of Major Land, the daughter of Aphrodite and Mephisto. After her father disappeared, she ran away to Kanon City and disguised herself to live with her grandfather, Otokichi.

Appearance

In her masked form as the Muse of Healing, Ako’s short orange hair grows to knee-length, with two yellow ribbons at either end. Her theme color is black. In her true form as Cure Muse, her theme color is yellow and her Fairy Tone is Dodory.

Abilities

As Cure Muse, Ako uses colorful piano keys to create barriers and restraints to aid the Pretty Cures. She doesn’t have a primary weapon, but uses her secondary Fairy Tone, Tiry, for her cleansing attacks.

Origin

Ako’s potential as a Pretty Cure was awakened when Mephisto stole the Legendary Score. She introduces herself as “Playing the Goddess’ Tune, Cure Muse” and is the youngest Pretty Cure in the franchise to date.
